The UNIDO hydrogen team was pleased to be a supporting partner of the 14th Dii Desert Energy Leadership Summit, joining hands with leaders from the public and private sectors to drive net-zero industrial development and an inclusive hydrogen transition.

UNIDO's Managing Director, Gunther Beger and Petra Schwager, Chief of the Climate and Technology Partnerships Division, attended the summit to share insights into the organization's strategy and experiences from global programs and projects.

About the event:

Under the clean energy acceleration theme ‘TRILLIONS FOR TRIPLING – cooperation, partnership and market pull’ this event aimed to highlight MENA efforts and achievements in ’net or sub zero emission’ energy production, conversion, transport, trade and end-use with a particular focus on the privileged relationship between MENA and EU. The Summit convened a dialogue among industry leaders and experts from the Arab world and Europe to unveil industry trends and innovations to scale up no-net emissions projects.
